Early and routine foot screening + self foot care: A routine foot examination is done through monofilament to detect loss of sensation in foot. Our diabetes educators give a detail education of self care of foot to be taken at home.
Vibration perception (Biothesiometer): Biothesiometer helps detecting the severity of diabetic neuropathy in Type 2 DM.
Vascular Doppler (ABI Index): It helps in detection of decreased blood circulation in the foot.
Electronic Callus Removal: It is used to remove hard dry skin formed in your feet due to excessive pressure and friction on the skin.
Podoscan Harris Mat: It measures patients weight disbursement and arch shape. It detects the area of greatest concern for ulceration.
Diabetic Footwear: The diabetic footwear is mainly used for maintaining equal distribution of plantar pressure of foot, correction of deformity, and offloading of pressure area which helps to prevent complications like strain, ulcers, calluses or even amputations for patients with diabetes and poor blood circulation.
